Criminal Investigations

#108 Lt. R. Thomas
Ron Thomas has served Jasper County since 1984. During that time he has served as a Patrolman and as a Detective Sgt. assigned to investigate crimes against children. In 2006 Lt. Thomas was recognized by the state of Missouri for his work in crimes against children.  He is currently assigned as the Commander of the Detective's Unit and holds the title of Lieutenant. He serves as an executive board member with M.O.C.I.C. and is a member of the Missouri State Investigators Association.  

#211 Sgt. R. Teed
Roy Teed has served Jasper County since 1996. During that time he has served as a Detention Officer, a Patrolman, a K9 officer, a SWAT officer, a Patrol supervisor and a Detective assigned to cybercrime investigations and crimes against persons. He is currently assigned to Internal Investigations and conducts background investigations on applicants. He assists with managing the sex offender registry and is a certified CVSA examiner. He is currently assigned as a supervisor over the Detective's Unit and holds the title of Sergeant. 

#223 T. Williams
Tim Williams has served Jasper County since 2006.  He has worked in a law enforcement capacity since 2001 with other agencies in Southwest Missouri.   His prior experience included patrol duties and investigating crimes against children.  He is also a certified CVSA examiner. He is currently assigned to investigate crimes against children.

#214 K. Mitchell
Kevin Mitchell has served Jasper County since 2006.  He has worked in a law enforcement capacity since 1991 with other agencies in Southwest Missouri.  His prior experience included patrol duties, a patrol supervisor and narcotics investigations.  He is currently assigned to investigate fraud and financial crimes.

#215 E. Bailey
Ed Bailey has served Jasper County since 2007. He has worked in a law enforcement capacity Since 1993 with other agencies in Missouri. His prior experience included patrol duties and criminal investigations. He is currently assigned to the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force which investigates Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC). 

#221 C. Carriger
Chris Carriger has served Jasper County since 2006. He has worked in a law enforcement capacity since 1996 with other agencies in Missouri. He has served as an Army Military Police Soldier since 1999 and has several tours of duty to different parts of the world. His prior experience includes patrol duties, corrections, court security, and civil process. He is currently assigned a K9 partner, Ashes, to help assist in locating items used in suspicious fires. He is a certified crime scene investigator, has two Bachelor’s degrees (criminology and psychology) and is due to receive a Masters Degree in December 2012 in Criminal Justice Administration from MSSU/SEMO. He is currently assigned to investigate crimes of all types.

#251 M. Walker
Matt Walker has served Jasper County since 2005. He has worked in a law enforcement capacity since 2002 with other agencies in Southwest Missouri.  His prior experience included patrol duties.  He is currently on special assignment with the street crimes unit.

#260 M. Hollier
Michael Hollier was employed with Lafayette La Police Dept. from 2003 thru 2007 during which he was assigned to the patrol division, FTO, and Detective Division. Employed with Jasper County Sheriff’s Office from Feb 2008 until current during which time he was assigned to the Detention Center, Patrol Division and Detective Division. He has been in the Detective Division since September 2009.

#216 T. Tyler
Terry Tyler has served Jasper County since 1991.  During that time he has served as a Detention Officer, a Patrolman and a Detective assigned to investigate crimes against children.  He is currently assigned to sex offender registration and general investigations.
